New ERP Exporting Requirements for EU & BS AC Charger

For the portable led lights, the AC chargers usually work as a necessary accesoory in importing, selling and applications.

And as a compulsory certificated prodcut considering safety and energy efficiency , we should pay more attention to the lastest certification requirements of different market, especially the EU markets.

It will help reducing some troubles in customs clearance and sales process, then it will better help our clients sell the portable led lights in their marketing.

And meanwhile, it will be helpful in save energy consumption, and protect our environment.

Now, as per as the new European Commission (EC) eco-design requirements 2009/125/EC, all the AC chargers exported to EU countries must follow the below requirements, from the 2020.04.01.

• Should meet the US DoE level VI energy efficiency standard.
• Add additional measurement of 10% load efficiency.
• AC charger specifications must now include a “manufacturers summary table” , to provide additional information about the AC charger supplier and design.
• The AC charger label / name plate must include the output power, voltage and current to 1 decimal place, for example 12V becomes 12.0V and 1A becomes 1.0A.
• AC charger label / name plate must now show the DoE VI logo in place of the CoC v5 T1 or T2 marking.
